Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, plus five years of progressively more responsible experience in technology evaluation and assessment, one year of which shall have included documenting recommendations. Can demonstrate knowledge of common computer software, local and wide area networking, and switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, remote access and Windows client server, IOS operating systems; ability to evaluate such technologies and make sound recommendations to management; ability to assess technology needs of organizational users with varying requirements, prepare user profiles, and make appropriate recommendations; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
