Qualifications:

  • Reports to: Farmington Continuing Education Coordinator

    Start date: September 1, 2019

    Salary: $15 - $20 per hour

    General Description: The evening supervisor provides a variety of monitoring activities to ensure the smooth operation of continuing education evening classes at Farmington High School, Irving Robbins Middle School and other area locations as needed. This includes printing class rosters, class attendance, signs, greeting participants at main entrance, setting up and coordinating registration table, directing people to proper classrooms, and helping students and teachers as needed throughout the evening. This person opens classroom doors, distributes class rosters and evaluations, handles teacher sign in sheets, displays classroom signs, and checks classrooms for tidiness and proper room arrangements at end of evening. The evening supervisor must work well with adult learners, instructors, custodial staff and other employees.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain order and oversee smooth operation of evening program
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate with adult learners, instructors, and staff
  • Keep track of concerns /compliments in nightly notebook/ talk with Coordinator daily about program's operation
  • Handle multiple tasks at once/ be flexible and pleasant in all communication
  • Represent Farmington Continuing Education professionally and appropriately
  • Other related duties, as assigned

  • Work Schedule:

    Seasonal (part-time): 12-16 weeks (Spring - End of January - Beginning of May)
    (Fall - End of August - Beginning of December)

    Monday-Thursday: 5:00 PM to 9:00/9:30 PM (can vary based on class schedules)
