Role Mission:

IDEA's Talent Acquisition Team Coordinator serves as the logistical lead for IDEA's Talent Acquisition Team, ensuring that all processes and systems are executed smoothly, allowing the team to operate more efficiently and strategically. The Talent Acquisition Team Coordinator will partner across our national and regional teams to identify and solve operational challenges, manage candidate communication, and support effective use of our data and tracking systems and our business office procedures.

Accountabilities:

Support the recruitment and hiring of new region staff through managing candidate communication, supporting hiring events and logistics and monitoring the new hire process.
  • Manage the logistics for new region hiring events by making travel arrangements for candidates, interview committee and supporting the team with the preparation of interview materials.
  • Attend select hiring events as the logistical lead.
  • Support the new region hire onboarding through managing all of the logistical/HR process (submitting Intent to Hire forms, submitting technology requests, ensuring that newly hired staff complete all of the necessary steps)

Support regional team staffing through managing the early stages of the candidate recruitment and staffing process to include but not limited to:
  • Manage the teach@ideapublicschools.org account, ensuring that 100% of candidates receive communication within 48 hours of contacting us.
  • Format and post positions on Jobvite for all positions within 48 hours of a request from staffing team members.
  • At the direction of the national staffing team members, synthesize and format content for monthly prospect emails.
  • Manage prospect lists in Jobvite Engage.
  • Partner with IDEA's Jobvite administrator to master the Engage and Hire functions and help staffing team members troubleshoot or respond to issues.
  • Provide logistical support for select events including Back to School Bash, New Teacher Institute, hiring events, job fairs, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing for IDEA's Career page on Facebook

Manage the Talent Acquisition Team travel, budget, reimbursements, and purchase card reconciliation with no errors.
  • Track and monitor spending in partnership with IDEA's finance team.
  • Process all reimbursements for staffing team members within 2 weeks of receiving them.
  • Reconcile purchase card receipts, ensuring that the team complies with the p-card program rules.
  • Attend all necessary business office trainings
  • Proficient in the use of Concur system

Maintain the Talent Acquisition Team's page on the Hub, updating content within 48 hours of requests and ensuring that we receive at least 100 hits/month.
  • Edit and upload content as requested by the national staffing team.
  • Manage team members to provide content by the relevant deadlines.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders to identify new content for inclusion on the Hub.

Manage the Internal and External Referral Program process, ensuring timely payouts.
  • Monitor referral submissions for all school-based and HQ positions and communicate with the relevant team members.
  • Manage the pay-out process for internal referrals, ensuring that communication and timelines are clear and pay-outs are received by the date specified

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: 2+ years of work experience in a professional environment preferred.
  • Licenses or Certifications: None required

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong written communication
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive
  • Familiarity with One Drive and SharePoint preferred
  • Familiarity with Jobvite preferred
  • Proficient with social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn
Compensation
  • Salaries for this role typically fall between $36,800 and $43,300, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on individual and organizational performance and goal attainment.
