Job Summary
Monitors activities, projects and initiatives. Ensures that all activities and programs are measurable and include a plan for how to evaluate success. Provides support in achieving programmatic effectiveness in the operational aspects.
Essential Functions
  • Facilitates management with collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing data to evaluate effectiveness, works closely with initiative managers to compile and report out data.
  • Ensures the accumulation of and entry of all data into data management system.
  • Collaborates with managers of arts initiatives to define performance goals, set targets, and develop project timelines and milestones to help reach performance goals of arts initiatives.
  • Maintains office task tracker of key tasks, activities, and deadlines.
  • Monitors the facilitation of regular project meetings among management involved in implementing and evaluating initiatives for purposes of progress monitoring, program review, and program improvement.
  • Provides problem-solving support to initiative managers and helps ensure that input and feedback from colleagues across the organization is solicited and incorporated.
  • Assists with the resolution of complex procedural issues and provides support for specialized policy-oriented research efforts.
  • Monitors the development and implementation of collaborative structures, programs and partnerships.
  • Oversees the design and maintenance of office website.
  • Organize professional development for city-wide arts educators.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience in program management, implementation, data collections and research, which has included experience with academic enrichment in a large urban district or overseeing components of financial and administrative operations in a large organization.
OR
  • Any combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.

Additional Job Information: This is a non-represented, 12-month position. The salary grade for this role is 4023. Interviews may be conducted to determine how well a candidate meets the established criteria. Please note that not all qualified candidates may be selected for an interview.
