Director Of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment 

The Southern Tioga School District is accepting applications for a Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment.  The Director will actively participate in the life of the school to forward best practices and innovations to enhance student learning. The Director will provide leadership and vision in the ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of the district’s curriculum and instructional services, federal programs, career pathways, assessment, research and evaluation services. This is an ACT 93 Administration, 12 month position.

The successful candidate must hold a Master’s degree and a Pennsylvania certification in one of the following areas: Superintendent’s letter of Eligibility, Principal, or Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction.  The successful candidate must have experience in educational administration, familiarity with the processes of educational research and treatment of research data and strong communication skills.

Director of Technology

The Southern Tioga School District is seeking a Director of Technology to provide system level leadership in all areas of technology as well as the classroom integration of technology.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an educational setting and those with a track record of innovative accomplishments. 

The Director of Technology will provide leadership and oversight to network operations, communications systems, and computer systems.  Additionally, the Director is involved in systems level strategic planning, budget development, program evaluation, supervision, organization and customer service as related to technology.

Business Manager

The Southern Tioga School District is seeking a Business Manager who will provide leadership and financial management of the district’s $33 million budget.  The primary responsibilities of the Business Manager include but are not limited to: financial planning and budget management, cash management and investment, debt service and capital fund, financial accounting and state reporting, and contracts.  The Business Manager is also responsible for overseeing the food service operations, tax collections, transportation, child accounting/central registration, payroll/benefits, accounts payable, and purchasing. The Business Manager will serve as a member of the executive cabinet as well as a member of the district leadership meetings. 

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field. A Master’s Degree and 5 years of school finance is preferred. The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, decision making, and leadership skills with knowledge in budget development, accounting/financial procedures, and business administration technologies.  Salary regionally competitive and negotiable.
