Part Time 6th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher

Baltimore International Academy West (BIA West), a new K-8 public charter school in southwest Baltimore City, is looking for a part-time English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for 6th Grade. BIA West is a replication of Baltimore International Academy (BIA), a public charter school now in its 12th year. BIA West is opening in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year with Kindergarten and 6th Grade and will be expanding each year until it is a full K-8 school. Like BIA, BIA West will be both a language immersion and an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. 

The candidate must possess a valid teaching certificate in the State of Maryland or be eligible for one.  A background in teaching English and experience with International Baccalaureate (IB) is strongly preferred.  The candidate must be able to work legally in the United States; BIA does not sponsor visas. Qualified candidates should respond with their cover letter and resume.  To learn more about BIA West, visit www.baltimoreinternationalacademy.org.
