Essential Functions and Objectives:

Functional responsibility for assisting and coordinating the life cycle administration of a program within one or more functional areas.
Supports the overall design and development of the program operating goals, objectives and protocols. Assumes the primary role in the administration, execution, maintenance, implementation, change management, and cross-functional alignment of workstreams.

Responsible for end-to-end HR service delivery and strategic support to designated schools. Work in partnership with DPS Central Office to provide coaching, support and influence that enable key clients to effectively deliver district solutions. Directly executes and coordinates all human resources activities for designated schools, such as hiring, onboarding, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, performance management , employee services, etc..

Support the initial scoping by participating in the design process, including: discovery analysis, selection process, determining requirements, and needs assessment; prepares requirements and reviews current process, procedures, and standards.

Oversees and administers day to day operations of various programs and related activities. Monitors short term work plans and schedules to track progress; identifies, analyzes and mitigates risks; creates and delivers presentations; performs analysis on program activity, collects data and presents reports to convey outcomes. Identifies process improvement, create efficiencies, and uncovers gaps. Develops resources, such as templates, forms and processes.

Maintains close relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Administers communication strategies and plans to ensure full alignment to key decisions and program direction. Supports change initiatives; serves as the primary liaison with respect to program implementation; provides technical/professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support to client constituencies as appropriate.

- Talent Acquisition: Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.

- HR Operations: Identifies school HR related inefficiencies and recommends changes to current processes, allocation of resources, policies and procedures. Creates, revises and updates HRIS requests on behalf of school, including position numbers, requisitions, postings.

- HR Strategy: Provides consultation that delivers best practice and DPS policy focused HR solutions. Provides counsel and assistance to school leadership on a broad range of HR issues, including staffing and retention, performance management, training and development, labor relations and ER.

- Performance Management: Works with the principal to identify and prioritize action steps for underperforming staff using multiple data points. Ensures compliance for teacher performance management data.

- Employee Relations: Responds and leads process on all ER inquires. Leads or collaborates on investigations. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Maintains current knowledge of HR related board of education policies.

- Training: Coordinates leadership training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. Ensures compliance with required trainings.

- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

- 3+ of experience in Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Business Partner.

- Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Effective time management and organizational skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines.

- The ability to take responsibility for one\u2019s own performance.

- Work collaboratively with others on a team.

- Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and fast-paced environment.

- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SP preferred.

- Problem Solving preferred.

- Conflict Resolution preferred.

- Change Management preferred.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree.

- Master\u2019s Degree in in Human Resources, Business Management or Psychology preferred.
