Openings: Full-time NM Early Pre-K Grant Lead Teacher

The Lead Teacher is responsible for curriculum implementation, classroom management, and achieving Learning Care Group's safety vision of "No One Gets Hurt." The Lead Teacher promotes the social, physical,and intellectual growth of the children under his/her care and works with the school's staff to create an environment of learning and keeps parents informed of the progress of their child.

Our Lead Teachers:

• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow Teachers.
• Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
• Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.

What you'll need to be successful:

• 1 year min. of experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
• 1 year min. of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• Bachelor's Degree in ECE or Family Studies or be enrolled in school and maintain a min. of 6 credits annually
• Is okay working with 3 year olds
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Must be at least 18 years of age
