Description
Staples High School is searching for a high school robotics club advisor to support a high-performing program, while upholding the values of our school community. The advisor will lead with enthusiasm, energy, and will always act in the best interests of our student club members.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in an engineering/robotics discipline preferred;
• Demonstrated ability to work with high school age students;

• Ability to serve as a positive, ethical role model through his or her actions on and off the high school campus; and
• Advisor must be trained in appropriate safety procedures, including safe operation of power tools as well as lab safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Advisor will set the after school work schedule, which will vary according to competitions the team enters;
• Advisor MUST be present to supervise after school work done on location(3-6 hours per week). Work and storage space is provided on campus;
• Season duration is dependent on which competition(s) the team enters (Advisors Discretion);
• Advisor is responsible for filling out all registration paperwork for competitions and fundraising; and
• Competitions typically occur on weekends and the advisor is required to attend all events the team engages in.

Reports To: Principal

Salary Range: $6,180 - $7,689
