Job Summary

Ensures that academic curriculum is infused appropriately with Magnet Theme/Special Transfer Option theme elements.

Essential Functions

1. Facilitates curriculum writing, alignment, and integration of themes into classroom routines; models best practices (research based).
2. Serves as a liaison between School Choice Office and the school.
3. Supports Principal in all aspects of the theme design, marketing & recruitment and implementation.
4. Coordinates and/or conducts staff development for theme implementation.
5. Prepares and manages program evaluation documentation.
6. Communicates vision and goals of district and builds program support.
7. Assists school leadership team with award/recognition applications.
8. Supports the work of the school's leadership team.
9. Locates and assists with acquiring appropriate resources (grant opportunity), instructional materials, supplies and equipment to align with school theme.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Master's Degree preferred)

Experience: Three (3) years successful experience in educational setting. Magnet school experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses: Valid Florida Teacher Certificate (any area).
