Performance Responsibilities
Instructs students through lectures- discussions- visual aids- and other effective teaching methods for student comprehension
Prepares lessons and outlines to use in class that effectively cover the material
Administers various types of assessments to monitor students performance- behavior and other issues
Attends faculty meetings and training sessions
Requirements: EDUCATION: Bachelor?s Degree required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Must hold a valid Georgia Professional Certification at a T-4 level or higher in at least one of the following fields:
FLD808 - Early Childhood Education (P-5)
FLD870 - Birth Through Kindergarten
FLD708 - Early Childhood Special Education General Curriculum (P-5)
FLD799 - Special Education Preschool (ages 3-5)
FLD826 - Special Education Preschool (ages 3-5) Endorsement
FLD805 - Special Education Adapted Curriculum PLUS all of the Special Education Academic Concentrations for P-5: 910, 920, 930, 940 and 950
FLD798 - Special Education General Curriculum PLUS all of the Special Education Academic Concentrations for P-5: 910, 920, 930, 940 and 950
FLD732 - Reading Specialist
FLD885 - ESOL English to Speakers of Other
