Step placement credit may be granted for up to a maximum of 8 years (Step 9) of prior verifiable experience. Salary placement with Fulton County Schools is non-negotiable. Actual salary placement will be based on Fulton County Board of Education experience calculations from the Non-Teaching Salary Schedule B-235, Professional Scale, Step 1 - Step 9.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements trainings for FCS custodial staff membersManages the Environmental Service Custodial Floater Program and floater placementsAssists schools/facilities in need of custodial staffing supportHelps maintain an up-to-date Environmental Services Operation ManualAssists the Coordinator of Environmental Services with the development and implementation of individual and group training sessions in all facets of equipment, chemical uses, and procedures related to custodial dutiesDevelops and maintains up-to-date guidelines for general cleaning dutiesMaintains accurate records of training at each locationAssists Environmental Technicians with assessing needs and advises schools of techniques to improve cleanlinessPlans and delivers training courses to augment other provided trainingMaintains knowledge of the latest developments in the cleaning industry and determines feasibility for inclusion in the custodial programServes as an additional resource for custodial cleaning procedures/techniquesWorks cooperatively with the Environmental TechniciansWorks cooperatively with Talent Division recruiter and staffing directorsPerforms other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator
Education and Experience:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED requiredBachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years related custodial training experience required
Certification:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to train employees in all facets of equipment, chemical uses, and procedures related to custodial dutiesKnowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and appropriate use of supplies and equipmentAbility to work collaboratively with others in program planning and deliveryMust be able to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilitiesAbility to apply critical thinking skills in rendering solutions to various issuesStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication skills both written and verbal

- $46,271 - $54,610
