A message for current JCPS Full-Time Instructors
Applications from current JCPS employees already in full-time Instructor positions will not be accepted. Current Instructors will use the transfer process to move to lateral positions for the 2018/19 School Year which is open annually March-April. Fairdale High is a Priority School with autonomous staffing. Human Resources is not able to make placements of Overstaffed or Laid-off Instructors but they are welcome to apply.

SALARY SCHEDULE (attached) : IA Grade 6
Working Calendar:187 Days/7.0 hours per day
Starting Annual Range $18,787

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Passing score on the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment (KPA) or 48 college semester hours.
• Experience in working with children and parents with special needs, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Associate degree.
• Classroom experience with Elementary, Middle, or High School students.
