Description
The Vice President, Retention provides strategic guidance and expertise to enhance, improve and drive retention results. This role uses customer feedback, programs, and data analysis to implement initiatives and programs with a strong emphasis on maximizing opportunity through seamless coordination and delivering meaningful results.

• Drives strategic development and management of our clients through programs and initiatives;
• Develops and manages voice of our customer and drive communication strategy, including identification of ways to increase differentiation of messaging and engagement to current customer base;
• Interfaces with other internal teams to gain alignment and feedback to improve the holistic customer experience ensuring corporate goals and strategies are achieved;
• Provides data-driven insights to guide the evolution and improvement of the customer experience as well as collaboration and support of re-registration;
• Uses industry knowledge and be the subject-matter expert on client feedback with an in-depth knowledge of Managed Public School customers;
• Develops productive, professional relationships with senior level and key decisions makers to communicates clearly and concise goals and initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration OR
• Eight (8) years work experience in a school environment, including holding leadership, operational, and analytic/strategic roles OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

• Strong business acumen skills and general management awareness
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Solid analytical thinker with desire to drive customer experience and business operations improvements
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to, motivate and inspire a diverse group of individuals, including senior management
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent judgment and independent decision-making skills
• Proven ability to lead and interact effectively within a cross-functional team
• Ability to motivate, inspire, manage and develop associates
• Experience managing budgets
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel; Web and analytic tools
• Ability to travel 25% of time
• Ability to pass background check requirements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's Degree
• Experience within online school environment or the educational marketplace
