Position Title: Early Childhood Teacher
Location: LaMora Park Elementary

Primary Function: Provide children's education to further kindergarten readiness. Provide school experiences that further develop the social, emotional, physical and academic domains of the child.

Qualifications:
• Valid Michigan elementary teaching certificate with Early Childhood Specialist (ZA)
• Family Independence Agency clearance.
• Ability to physically bend, stoop, etc., to assist children is required.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Experience in developing readiness skills in the affective, cognitive, physical, and social areas of development.

Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction to in the classroom.
• Conduct post testing on all students.
• Maintain student records on a daily basis.
• Responsible for submitting all evaluation and attendance forms at the end of the summer session.
• Work cooperatively with the Assistant Teacher and other staff.

Start Date: August 13, 2019
Salary: BCEA ECE Salary Schedule Organizational Relationship :
Reports directly to the Principal and Director of Elementary Education
