    Early Childhood Education Bilingual Paraprofessional
    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Responsible for supporting instruction of pre-school children within an inclusive environment.
    All duties are assigned by the teacher and building principal.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Proof of high school diploma or equivalent
    • Additionally, instructional paraprofessionals in Title I schools or paraprofessionals supported by Title I funds in a targeted Title I school must have 1 of the 3 following qualifications:
      • 2 years of higher education;
      • An associate's degree or higher; or
      • A passing score on the state paraprofessional assessment
    • Basic knowledge of reading and writing skills.
    • Written and spoken fluency in both English and Spanish required
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    55% - Provide support and extensions for children's learning activities.
    5% - Document all tasks performed.
    5% - Prepare materials for classroom instruction.
    5% - Prepare materials for Home/School Connection.
    1% - Provide one on one physical assistance to children with special needs.
    1% - Clean and sanitize classroom materials.
    10% - Provide one to one instruction for Home/School Connection.
    5% - Document all tasks performed.
    5% - Implement team planning for classroom instruction.
    3% - Implement team planning for Home/School Connection.
    3% - Provide documentation and support for parent/teacher conferences.
    2% - Perform other duties as assigned.

    SALARY: Range 3 of the Classified Employee salary schedule. To view current Adams 14 salary schedules, please click here. Adams County School District 14 is a direct deposit employer. All new employees must be fingerprinted per H.B. 90-1077 at a cost of $40.00 to the employee.
