    ROLE SUMMARY
    The Performance Evaluation Manager will have primary responsibility to oversee the evaluation of all CPS employees. They will manage best-in-class performance initiatives and programs that align with and drive a high performance culture, incorporating best practices into program design. He or she will coach our leaders on how to successfully have ongoing, development-focused performance conversations with their employees. In addition, he or she will lead the measurement and analysis of success against intended goals and manage design and implementation of performance management processes, communication, training and related technology systems. They will drive the cultural transformation of performance management moving from and bi-annual HR activity to a more progressive, ongoing process that supports talent pipelining.
    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Create a calendar and implementation timeline of all evaluation dates and deadlines and communicate this with all stakeholders.
    • Create customized support and training for each employee group under evaluation to ensure they know and are able to complete their parts of the evaluation.
    • Collaborate with all unions around evaluation of their membership.
    • Ensure systems for accurate data input are in place for all evaluation systems and audit the data integrity.
    • Provide evaluation data to CPS Administration.
    • Provide training and development for all facets of employee evaluation in CPS - on Frontline and on ODE's online platform.
    • Administer and Manage e-platforms of ODE: set up, evaluator management, staff assignment, monitoring district wide observation completion, providing assistance to all users (Teachers and Evaluators).
    • Develop and deliver training necessary to ensure all administrators are trained and credentialed on ODE's e-platform, providing training updates as necessary.
    • Assist Principals and Assistant Principals and any appropriate Central Office Administrators with the implementation of all parts of the Cincinnati Teacher Evaluation System (CTES) to include: Professional Growth Plans, improvement plans, CAR referrals, observation completion support, student growth measures guidance, and questions.
    • Assist Principals and Assistant Principals and any appropriate Central Office Administrators with the implementation of all parts of the Frontline Professional Growth platform.
    • Facilitate the development and delivery of professional learning and information to teachers reflective of the CTES performance rubric and ODE Teaching Standards.
    • Maintain updated OTES and OPES credentials.
    • Attend as a District representative all OTES/OPES meetings and trainings.
    • Provide assistance in the full implementation of the Ohio Principal Evaluation System.
    • Work with Peer Review Panel with regard to CAR cases.
    • Work with administration regarding non-renewals, terminations, and contract changes due to employee performance.
    • Coordinate and monitor licensure compliance, working with the EMIS team for data integrity.
    • Work with EMIS team to create reports of ESSA licensure requirements and plans for support in cases where there are violations.
    • Interpret personnel policies, procedures, rules and regulations to certificated employees.
    • Conduct certificated discipline hearings.
    • Serve as a member of the account management team and other teams as assigned
    • Collaborate with Talent Department to configure best practices around use of evaluation data for career coaching and trend data for actions for the district.
    • Perform all other Duties as assigned by the Director.

    • Experience with performance management administrative systems and tools

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field; Master's Degree in Educational
    Administration or related field preferred.
    HR training and/or experience preferred.

    CONTRACT PROVISIONS

    Contract Provisions: 261 day limited
    Salary: Manager 1 per CAAS agreement
