PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
This is responsible administration and supervision in operating various size school cafeterias of a large school system. Employees are responsible for maintaining state and federal standards and carrying out the policies and procedures of the Board of Public Instruction and the State Department of Education. Work is performed under general administrative supervision of the school principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent or special diploma required.
2. Practical experience in the preparation and service of foods to large groups of people.
3. Successful completion of the following courses or equivalent: Introduction to Brevard School Food Service, Equipment Use and Care, Quantity Food
4. Preparation, Organization and Management, Nutrition (must be completed within one (1) year of appointment to position).
5. Valid Florida Driver License.
