A successful candidate for this position will embody confidence, exercise good judgement and must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with various constituencies, including students, senior staff, co-workers, and teachers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchroom in cooperation with other staff.
• Assist students as need with their lunches.
• Assist with disposing of recycle, compostable and garbage materials.
• Dismiss students in an orderly fashion.
• Clean tables and sweep up accidental spills as needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.
• Assists the school Principal and performs clerical duties as office assistant
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to pass a NYS Education Department background check
• Punctuality and reliability

Qualifications

• NYS Food Handler’s License
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Willingness to travel between network school locations
