Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a full-time Computer Science Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.
Description:
Candidates must have strong content and pedagogical knowledge to teach a wide array of Computer Science coursework. Exceptional candidates have teaching experience differentiating for students from diverse backgrounds/interests and foster collaboration and discourse amongst students. Experience in collaborating with colleagues to create learning standards, curriculum, develop instructional strategies, common assessments, and remediation is desired.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) with Computer Science endorsement. Strong computer science candidates will have experience with various programming languages, iOS App Development, AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, and experience designing further advanced coursework. Ideal candidates will also have a valid Illinois Professional Educator's License with secondary Mathematics endorsement.
