    SALARY: Administrative Schedule

    WORK YEAR: 260 Days

    REPORTS TO:Chief of Schools and Chief of Academics

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Chief of Schools and Chief of Academics, the Administrative Assistant for curriculum will coordinate and direct support services to the organization.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Job Functions)
  • Regular attendance to perform assigned duties
  • Provide direct support to the Chief of Schools and Chief of Academics
  • Conduct research
  • Be responsive to the needs of other administrators in the absence of the Chief of Schools
  • Manage projects that involve multiple stakeholders.
  • Create presentations, including PowerPoint and handouts
  • Prepare written and statistical reports, studies and analysis
  • Manage projects, including tracking expenses, facilitating meetings and monitoring timelines.
  • Plan and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Supervise other clerical staff as directed.
  • Maintain confidential documents
  • Arrange conference calls
  • Prepare routine correspondence for assigned administrators
  • Research confidential information as requested
  • Provide support for the administrator evaluation process and maintain confidential files
  • Attend workshops, conferences, and departmental meetings
  • Make necessary public relation contacts
  • Meet with and support parents and others who arrive without an appointment when the supervisor is unavailable.
  • Take and maintain minutes of Curriculum Committee and other meetings as directed
  • Contact parents and others to dispense information as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Office environment; walking, standing, squatting, hearing and speaking to exchange information and make presentations; seeing to monitor various activities; read documents, view computer monitor, kneeling, bending at the waist, sitting for extended periods of time; reaching overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally, or bending at the waist to retrieve and store files; lifting semi heavy objects; driving a vehicle to conduct work

    TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's Degree, preferred
    Experience in executive administrative support, preferred
    Experience in an educational setting, desirable

    LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    Valid drivers licenses, and provide personal automobile
