Actual salary placement will be based on Fulton County Board of Education experience calculations from the Non-Teaching Salary Schedule B-235, Executive Scale, Step 1 - Step 9.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with the coordination, development and implementation of the virtual learning, blended learning, and credit recovery programs in collaboration with curriculum and instructional technology staffSupervises all aspects of Fulton Virtual Schol including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating teachersConducts annual course needs assessment and evaluation of online course curriculumReviews and recommends policies and procedures related to online learning course delivery; Communicates policies and procedures for virtual options to school and District staffAssists in the evaluation of technology, virtual and blended learning opportunities and recommends modifications which will enhance program offerings and opportunities for students to excel in the futureAssists in the development of budgets for all virtual learning opportunities; Develops and monitors program budget and identifies partnerships and additional funding opportunitiesProvides staff development, resources and on-going support for online teachersCommunicates revisions to software platform and appropriate training for teachersEnsures availability of necessary technical support for teachers, students, and parentsAssists with the promotion of technology and virtual opportunities to District and school leadership, counselors, students, parents, and the communityPrepares and analyzes reports/data including registration, completion rates, progress/grades and survey resultsWorks with District and school leadership staff to develop and implement effective virtual and blended learning opportunities to provide additional time and opportunity for students to master the Georgia StandardsMaintains student records, registration, records grades, monitors student and staff attendance and participation in all virtual learning opportunities
Participates in professional growth activities to keep abreast of current and emerging technologies related to technology, online learning and forms collaborative partnerships with other education agenciesPerforms other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator
Education and Experience
Education:
- Master's Degree in Education, Technology or related field required
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience and 3 additional years of successful teaching and/or technology experience in an instructional leadership role requiredOnline course development, online teaching and school administrative experience preferredFamiliarity with Blackboard and Edgenuity preferred
Certification/Licensure:
- Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia teaching certificate:
Georgia Leadership Certification strongly preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to use and develop online resources to support instruction
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong instructional technology skills, including productivity software and web-based resources
Understanding of class scheduling
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to work effectively with department personnel and build/manage strong working relationships with diverse groups, including various levels of District staff, private corporations, business leaders, parents and community leaders
- Must be able to determine scope of work necessary to complete self-directed projects and successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities
- ?Ability to present data in a concise, relevant way to aid in decision making and planning
- Experience developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating program goals and initiatives
