The Assessment Coordinator works as a member of the school's leadership team to systematically collect, compile, and interpret educational data related to student performance. The position assists the leadership team in identifying and measuring improvement strategies based on available student data, identifies trends in student achievement and predicts future outcomes based on potential improvement strategies.   • Supervises the planning, budgeting and implementation of all required FL State and K12 testing initiatives;
  • Functions as part of the school's leadership team to identify key data for school improvement;
  • Communicates data interpretations and needs verbally and in writing to appropriate stakeholders;
  • Analyzes data to suggest programmatic improvements and measures the impact of school improvement strategies;
  • Actively participates in all school leadership team meetings;
  • Supervises and advises teaching and temporary staff as needed to facilitate off-site State testing;
  • Contributes to the school's continuous improvement by suggesting further questions, considerations, and research.

Are you driven by excellence to deliver instruction, support and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students' individual needs? If selected, you will participate in a comprehensive new teacher training program for three weeks before the start of school. It is an opportunity to meet colleagues and learn the responsibilities required for delivering curriculum in an online environment. During this training you will also learn how to monitor student progress through K12's learning management system, and to be a partner actively working with students and parents to advance each child's learning.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree AND
  • Five (5) years of educational experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
OTHER REQUIRED Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Ability to pass required background check
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business or Education
  • Valid Teaching or Administrator Credential
  • Previous experience with administering FL State assessments
