The Danbury High School Marching Band has an immediate opening for a woodwind and/or visual instructor. Prior experience in the marching arts is required. Experience teaching woodwind instruments or visual instruction is a plus. Bachelor's degree in music performance or music education is a plus.

Working Conditions:
This position reports to the Danbury High School Marching Band Director. Fall hours will be 8 hours per day during August band camp (7 days) and approximately 15 hours per week during regular school weeks. This is a stipend position of $2000?
Requirements:
- Band camp (1-2 weeks late August, dates and times TBD)
- Weekly Tuesday/Thursday rehearsals
- Review judge tapes from music individual, music ensemble, and visual captions.
- Collaborate with the rest of the marching band staff
- Other responsibilities assigned by Band Director
- High School Diploma
- Performance experience in marching ensembles (marching band, drum corps, winter percussion)
- DCI, DCA, WGI, or college marching band experience preferred
