Middle Grades Math Teacher: This individual is responsible for planning and executing strong instruction to lead all assigned students to master the math curriculum in a way that prepares them for future college and careers. Teachers are expected to work individually and to collaborate with each other to design instructional plans, design assessments, analyze student achievement data, use technology to support instruction, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure students master appropriately rigorous content. Teachers should effectively differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs of students. Teachers are expected to engage in regular professional development sessions, meetings, tutoring, and parent/community events throughout the year, including staff meetings before or after school.
