18.75 hrs/wk
Initial hours of assignment: 3.75 hours/day between 9:30am and 1:30pm. Manager will assign times.
10 months per school year
Duties:
Prepares and portions daily school menu production items as specified by unit manager.
Assists with pots and pans, general kitchen clean up, serving food to students and ware-washing.
Responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary work areas.
May be assigned to any and all aspects of school food service operations.
Requirements:
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Good organizational skills.
Dependability.
Good people skills.
Good physical condition - ability to lift 25-30 pounds.
Some food preparation experience preferred but not required.
