Job Description
OBJECTIVE: Provide a rigorous and engaging science, technology, engineering and mathematics course for middle school students.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develops and implements rigorous STEM lessons and units using inquiry-based learning experiences
-Provides standards-based, structured project based learning that interconnects STEM subjects
-Employs a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media and performance assessments, which guide the learning techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments, which guide the learning process toward academic achievement and curriculum goals
-Established clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects and communicates these objectives to the students

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Massachusetts Licensure in Science, engineering, mathematics or technology for grades 5-8
-Previous middle school experience preferred

REPORTS TO: Principal
This position follows the UNIT A contract.
