The School Based Enrollment Coordinator works closely with families, school districts and the company's central Enrollment and Document Processing teams to oversee and coordinate all aspects of student enrollments and re-enrollments.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Facilitates the planning, evaluation, and delivery of the TXVA Dyslexia Tutoring program for grades 3-12;
  • Develops and implements the 3-tier RTI instructional system to increase student achievement;
  • Provides dyslexia training and mentoring support to Section 504 Coordinator, TXVA Learning Coaches, and TXVA teachers and staff; Works with the Section 504 Coordinator and Administrators to develop and provide Dyslexia professional development programs;
  • Partners with the Section 504 Coordinator to ensure effective implementation of the Dyslexia program including monitoring the screening, referral, and placement process for dyslexia services;
  • Works directly with the ESL Department to ensure that all dyslexic students are identified and served; Assumes responsibility for coordinating the Dyslexia program throughout the school; Conducts dyslexia screenings and assessments;
  • Implements and maintains the TXVA Dyslexia pre-assessment intervention program;
  • Maintains dyslexia and RTI student records and operating policies that ensure compliancy;
  • Effectively and regularly communicates Federal, State and District dyslexia policy and Texas Education Association (TEA) State testing policy updates and guidelines to Administration with the goal of keeping TXVA compliant with all Federal and State laws and regulations;
  • Identifies groups of learners with specific targeted learning needs; Organizes curriculum and instruction for the target groups;
  • Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; Uses data to help teachers plan whole and small group instruction and help teachers identify and group students who need additional help.

  • Works collaboratively in developing TXVA's vision for the district's and TXVA's dyslexia program; Continually researches dyslexia and RTI programs and provides analysis of such programs to determine possible implementation at TXVA;
  • Communicates effectively and often with learning coaches articulating TXVA's mission and conducting activities that may be needed to provide the learning coach with information and training regarding RTI and dyslexia.
  • Supports teachers in documenting student progress;
  • Works with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for special education;
  • Reviews, processes, and monitors all special education referrals.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree AND
  • Three (3) years of related professional experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: Texas Teacher Certification.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
  • Ability to pass required background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • • Three (3) years of directly related experience in an online school setting
