Primary English / IPC Teacher - Hangzhou, China - August 2019

This school in Hangzhou is looking for a Primary English / IPC Teacher to join them in August 2019. The role involves providing pupils with exceptional learning opportunities that promote development in the areas of learning of the UK curriculum. To support each individual pupil"s growth and development, encouraging children to be inspired. Applicants should have at least 2 years relevant professional teaching experience, hold a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Education or a Bachelors plus teaching qualification, which is from a recognised University or College involving not less than 3 years full time study. Candidates should also have experience teaching in a bilingual environment with the English National Curriculum. The college is looking for positive, energetic teachers who are flexible and enthusiastic about collaborating with teams across the school.

Learning is based on the UK National Curriculum and delivered in a way that is consistent with the school's ethos. The pedagogical and structural approaches ensure pupil learning and development is designed to achieve the vision for the school. An extensive extra-curricular programme of sports and other after-school activities will be provided to enrich and broaden the education offered. The fast train to Shanghai takes just 50 minutes and there are also regular bus services as well. The region enjoys a subtropical climate with four distinctive seasons that include hot summers and cold winters (with occasional snow).
