REPORTS TO: Parent and Community Engagement Center Senior Administrator
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead the PACE Center's efforts in collecting, organizing and evaluating data. Facilitate creation of long-term information technology (IT) solutions for all programmatic, operational and customer service responsibilities within PACE. Consistently provide stakeholders with up-to-date data to make the organizational decision-making process as efficient as possible.
POSITION
DUTIES:
Serve as the PACE Center's data collection and organizing point of contact
Serve as a PACE liaison with Springfield Public Schools' Information Tech Department including IT ticket request coordination and phone system maintenance
Work directly with all PACE employees to create consistent data collection and organizing methods (identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets) that can be customized for specific PACE Center operations, programs, building projects, initiatives, processes and events
Analyze and interpret qualitative data from surveys, focus groups and evaluation tools collected from school staff and parents/ families to formulate long-term recommendations for mission of PACE responsibilities
Facilitate annual comprehensive reports of PACE Center operations. Utilize data visualization tools to build and present reports.
Enhance and maintain PACE Center pages on SPS website and social media platforms
Submit and track building operation work orders and maintain list of all computer and phone equipment.
Provide project management support involving PACE Center operations
Work with PACE employees to implement most efficient pathways to collect and evaluate programmatic data
Play lead role in district's annual Back-to-School Celebration, End of Year Celebration and HS Information Night by collecting and organizing data to improve logistics and/ or marketing and outreach
Support PACE enrollment process as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by PACE Administrators
QUALIFICATIONS:
General IT, data collection, spreadsheet and/ or data visualization platform experience
Individual Contributor
Responsible for specializing in a particular function or operational effort (non-clerical)
Day to day decision making relevant to scope of work
Requires at least 1-2 years of experience in the field
Relevant associate degree required, or educational requirement may be substituted for at least 3 years of experience in relevant field
Possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work cooperatively with parents, community partners and school personnel
Proficiency in computer operations, including but not limited to, Microsoft software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Experience with student information (PowerSchool) and financial (MUNIS) systems highly desirable.
