Position Title: 1:1 Teacher Aide - Summer School for an ENL Student
Anticipated Starting Date: July 8, 2019
Anticipated Ending Date: August 16, 2019
Anticipated
Location/Hours: Approx. 9:15 AM - 11:30 AM
Salary: $14.75/Per SRP Contract
Minimum Qualifications: A. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; or four years of experience and knowledge where specialized duties are involved
Duties: Work with students on a one to one basis and in small groups. Assist with transitions so that student participates in classroom activities. Provide physical assistance to a student. Supervise students and perform other services as determined by the teacher. Follow directions from principal. Positive evaluations. Proven ability to interact with faculty/staff, students and parents.

- Patience in dealing with students with disabilities
- Good communication skills
- Empathetic but able to positively motivate students to do well
- Teacher aide experience preferred
- SCIP trained preferred
