Salary Range: $30.953 - $37.507/hr

Essential Functions and Objectives:

Provides leadership in the development, implementation, coordination and support of post-secondary readiness programs offered atAbraham Lincoln High School. Coordination and training activities and training necessary as part of the DYC-DPS partnership.

Develop, implement and evaluate the post-secondary readiness program, focused on GED completion and post-GED support.

D evelop instructional curricula to support Accuplacer and TOEFL assessments for appropriate students.

Assist with monthly transitional visits offered at Auraria Campus which focused on addressing all of the admission requirements, ensuring students receive the necessary support to enroll.

A ssist students with application completion to a variety of post-secondary opportunities

C oordinate daily activities, including daily scheduling, weekly meetings, and coordination with The Department of Youth Corrections to ensure alignment of programming and post-secondary readiness activities

De-escalate students and connect with students individually when needed

Additional Duties as Assigned

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with colleagues.

D emonstrate ability to design, plan, and facilitate adult learning.

K nowledge of best practices in curriculum instruction, assessments, and standards-based education.

K nowledge of effective instructional programs and methodologies and experience in providing such instruction to meet state standards, and common core.

K nowledge of second language acquisition in the curriculum content areas preferred.

R esearch and analyze variety of educational resources.

D emonstrate commitment to continuous professional learning.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Operate and use general office equipment and supplies, telephones, personal computers, related software and equipment (e.g., printer).

Education Requirements:

Master's degree Required with a major in an area of Social Work, Special Education, Counseling, or Related Field

Experience with At Risk Youth preferred

E xperience with crisis intervention preferred

Experience with mediation and conflict resolution preferred

Experience in monitoring curriculum content assessment data and recommending program improvements desired
