We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified Secondary Computing/ICT Teacher for an immediate start. Classes are small and the students are eager to learn. The school is an accredited member of COBIS and was most recently inspected in 2017 to successfully secure British Schools Overseas status.

The role is to teach across the Secondary school. Secondary Teachers are responsible for inspiring and enthusing students in their development of knowledge and skills within Key Stage 3/4/5 and in their preparation for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to demonstrate a proven commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning and student achievement; someone with drive and passion who believes in creating a unique, inspiring and outstanding place for learning, able to excite and challenge students of all abilities to make great progress. Applicants should also be prepared to contribute to the wider community aspect of school life, which is expected of every member of the teaching staff.

As an English school specialising in the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student population, strong English language is an essential requirement and applications from native-level speakers of English will be preferred. Because of difficulties in obtaining a visa and residency, it may not be possible to consider applicants from nationalities outside of the UK and Europe.

Slovenia, a country in Central Europe, is known for its mountains, ski resorts and lakes. On Lake Bled, a glacial lake fed by hot springs, the town of Bled contains a church-topped islet and a cliffside medieval castle. In Ljubljana, Slovenia"s capital, baroque façades mix with the 20th-century architecture of native Jože Plečnik, whose iconic Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) spans the tightly curving Ljubljana River.
