The school is located in Southern China in Guangzhou, near to Hong Kong and the largest city in the Guangdong province. In recent years, the city has developed a more cosmopolitan appearance with new shopping plazas, high rise buildings, a modern metro system and landscaped parks and road sides. It's a busy, lively city but parts of the cities have charm with restored churches, buildings and private residences. Having a major airport and being so close to Hong Kong opens up a world of travel opportunities from short weekend trips to longer treks around Asia in the holidays. Guangzhou really is the perfect place to base yourself in Asia! For more information on China please see http://www.edvectus.com/Content/Documents/china.pdf
