Additional Job Information: This posting is for the new Extended Transition Project SEARCH program at Princeton Village of Largo Assisted Living Facility. In addition to traditional ESE teacher/case manager responsibilities, the teacher of this program will be responsible for implementing the provided Project SEARCH curriculum and following the frameworks as set out by Project SEARCH. The adult interns/students (ages 18-21) in this program will be participating in three, ten-week rotations of tasks that build employ-ability skills, stamina, and assist the facility with day-to-day operations. There will also be classroom-based activities as part of the curriculum and programming. Teacher should have excellent organization skills, be able to self-start, and work with minimal supervision. Program follows the district calendar; however, there will be training requirements during the Summer of 2019.
