Staff Needed: One (1) Teacher Grade 6-8 Science

Qualifications:

• Hold a degree and certificate in any of the following areas of Science: Earth, Physical or Life Science and other appropriate endorsement(s)
• Desire to work with middle school students and able and willing to put in the required time
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the content field when holding a content specific teaching responsibility on the elementary level
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community, demonstrating good moral character
• Possess insight patience adaptability in order to teach students of varying ability levels
• Able to engage students at high levels addressing students learning styles
• Brings Science lessons to life with real-world applications
• Understand student sensitive difference
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
