We are seeking a Pre-K Ed Tech for our newly launched PK class at Rowe Elementary School. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and knowledge of early childhood curriculum, strategies, and classroom management. The candidate will support the classroom teacher in building school readiness by helping to create a positive learning environment, A working knowledge of the Maine Early Learning Results and experience with the OWL curriculum and Everyday Math is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess strong collaborative skills, the ability to help create a positive classroom environment, and strong communication skills in working with parents and professional staff. Experience with ELL students and families experiencing poverty is strongly preferred.
Certifications: At a minimum, an Educational Technician II Authorization from the Maine DOE who obtains a Level 4 status on the Maine Roads to Quality Registry within 3 years.
