  Position:  IT Technicians
  Location:  District
  Start Date:  Immediately
  Specifications:  7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, year-round with Benefits
  Pay Rate:  Level 1 - $20.50 per hour - 37.5 hrs. per week
                    Level 2 - $23.00 per hour - 37.5 hrs. per week
  
  Job Summary:  Provides technical support/assistance to students, teachers, administrators and support staff with hardware and software issues and skills development.  Troubleshoots, installs, configures, and prepares desktop, laptop, tablet, printer, and peripheral equipment.  Strong attention to detail, adherence to policies and procedures, effective communication, thorough documentation skills necessary.
  
  Possible Tiers of Employment
  Level 1 Certifications required:  Current CompTIA A+ and Vendor Applicable Certifications must be obtained within set time period after date of hire.  Additional certifications preferable.
  Level 2 Certifications required:  Current CompTIA A+ certification plus two or more of the following certifications:  Approved vendor repair certifications (Examples:  Apple Certified Mac Technician, Dell Tech Direct Certification, Lenovo Certified Self Maintainer Technician or a printer hardware repair certification)  Approved industry professional, specialty or mastery certification (Examples:  CompTIA, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP, Microsoft MCSA, Microsoft MTA, Microsoft MSE, Apple Certified Support Professional)
  
  (All certifications must have been obtained within the past 3 years and must not have expired.)
