Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution; appropriate teacher certification in the State of Iowa; human relation skills are needed to work effectively; with students, parents, support staff, administrators, and fellow teachers; demonstrated aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance of responsibilities; establish a daily lesson plan following curriculum guidelines; prepare necessary materials; Implement lesson plans; maintain discipline and foster positive relationships; utilize motivational tools to stimulate the student; maintain communication concerning individual progress with parents and school administration; refer students for specialized help when appropriate; contribute to curriculum development and revision; correct assignments and evaluate progress; works to maintain positive public relations for the school district; and performs other duties as assigned.
