The Regional Marketing Manager of Strategic Initiatives will serve as the marketing leader for key strategic school segments including new, remodel and acquisition schools. They will develop scalable marketing strategies informed by school performance indicators to grow overall enrollment. They will also build partnerships with field, support central and marketing leadership to streamline marketing activities, while monitoring and measure the impact of activities on performance. This role will ensure effectiveness of marketing programs, while holding partners accountable to execute key initiatives effectively.

Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Travel to developing markets and schools to understand local marketing dynamics, ensuring execution of local marketing plans and to support grand opening events.
  • Develop marketing strategy for new school openings for pre-opening, grand opening and ongoing time periods.
  • Development repeatable marketing support for strategic segments, such as schools that have received significant investments like remodels and acquisitions.
  • Align a myriad of marketing activities to build scalable, executable and measurable action plans that streamline internal resources, which improving overall impact and visibility into performance.
  • Consistently monitor and understand specific drivers of under-performance indicators in order to drive a programmatic marketing and operational response to achieve desired performance.
  • Partner with internal media strategy team to understand and supplement existing media efforts with incremental investment and new hyper-local test-and-learn opportunities.
  • Partner with creative development team to tune messaging based on creative performance and build plans meeting deadlines for execution.
  • Work directly with underperforming school directors and district managers to create action plans, and escalate appropriately.
  • Provide monthly updates on area budget, as well as forecasts/plans throughout the fiscal year.
  • Contribute in the development and sharing of best practices for overarching local marketing strategy, marketing plans and tactical execution.
  • Consistently function as a pro-active member of the corporate marketing management team and ensure cross-fertilization between marketing areas.
  • Ensure LCG's image, brand and ethical standards are strictly adhered to and all activities are in line with the company's Vision, Mission and Values.
  • Assists with other duties as directed by supervisor.
Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Marketing with significant experience with marketing performance analytics, digital and traditional media and supporting a multi-unit/multi-state business.
  • Up to 30% travel, including overnight.
