Summer Enrichment Coordinator

The intent of this program is to provide high-quality summer learning experiences that keep students on a positive trajectory in both ELA & Math. The program design will combine academic experiences with associate enrichment experiences that target reading & math skill develpment through small group, whole group, center-based and digital instruction. Resources in the academic session such as IRLA Project Based Learning, Zearn, Success Make & NewsELA will be utilized & individual goals wil be developed for each student. Student progress toward meeting their academic goals will be closely monitored & documented to ensure that all students are on track & are making progress in ELA & math skill development. Data collection for all students is required. Applicants must be fully trained to fully utilize IRLA, Zearn, NewsELA & Success Maker. A final project produced by students to showcase their work on the IRLA Project Based Learning unit is required at the end of the program. Program will run 7/8-8/15/2019, Mon-Thurs., 8AM - 1PM. Site Coordinator must be available of all 24 days of the program. The Site Coordinator will report directly to the Program Director and will need to be fully familiar with all aspects of the 21st Century CLC grant requirements.
Qualifications: NYS Teacher Cert, with preference given to those with experience with Site Coordinator in the ASP Programs. Must be willing to meet eligibility for driving district vehicles & transportation of students.
Compensation: $150/day (24 day program); to be disbursed every 14 days of programming for each date of on site supervision.
