1.0 Regular Substitute Elementary Teacher - Maple East

Dates of assignment: August 27, 2019 - June 28, 2020
QUALIFICATIONS:

• NYS Elementary Certification K-6 OR both NYS Early Childhood B-2 AND NYS Childhood Education 1-6 Certifications
• 4 th grade experience highly preferred
• Effective classroom management skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, including planning, execution, and evaluation of materials, supplies and lessons
• Strong ELA background, preferably experience with TCWRP
• Character traits necessary to teach young children - enthusiasm, warmth & dedication
• Ability to differentiate instruction
• Strong communication and teaming skills
• Technology skills
• Lifelong learner

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successful applicant will be responsible for all duties of a full-time classroom teacher
