TEACHING POSITION: Requires Alaska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement (s) (for information visit: http://www.eed.state.ak.us/TeacherCertification ).

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Alaska teaching certificate with an edorsement in Language Arts, Math, or Science.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education with an emphasis in either Language Arts, Math or Science.

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's degree in education preferred.
• Experience teaching at the middle school level.
• Experience teaching in advanced Language Arts, Math, and Science.
• Experience working with gifted/talented students/programs.
• Experience teaching the writing process for non-fiction writing.
• Experience or ability to work with instructional technology is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a team teaching learning environment, where content is integrated, is a desired characteristic.
