Scope of practice for school psychology required:
Data based decision making and accountability
Consultation and Collaboration
Interventions and instructional support for academic success, including progress monitoring
School-wide practices to promote learning
Case manage initial IEP evaluations
Interventions and mental health services for social and life skills
Preventive and responsive services, including individual student support
Family-school collaboration services
Diversity in development and learning
Research and program evaluation
Legal, ethical and professional practice
Spanish speaking candidates encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Knowledge of assessment and student progress monitoring birth through 21 years
-Knowledge of special education rules and regulations
-Ability to collaborate and develop positive relationships with staff, students, families, and the community in order to enhance student learning
-Exceptional written and oral communication skills
-Experience with RTI and AIMSWEB including data analysis and programming, behavioral interventions.
- Crisis intervention, FBA-BIP for non-spec ed
