Staff Needed: One (1) SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER COG. MOD

Qualifications:

• Appropriate NJ Teacher of Handicapped or Secondary Teacher Certificate with Teachers of Students with Disabilities
• Certificate - MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY AVAILABLE IN APPLITRACK
• Knowledge of NJCCS and Common Core Standards, mandated State Testing (APA/DLM) and Content Area Curriculum
• Experience working with High School students and children with special needs
• Ability to interpret and implement students individualized education plans (IEP's)
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
• Effective classroom management
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and good moral character
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, teaching and administrative staff, parents and community
• If current name does not match name on certification, submission of legal name change document is required

Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
