The Alexander School District invites certified and highly qualified elementary teachers to apply for a position in our District. We are looking for candidates with a valid New York State Teacher Certification, Childhood Education grades 1-6.
The mission of the Alexander Central School District is to challenge students to be confident, contributing learners within a structured, safe and caring learning environment. We are a District with approximately 875 students who learn in our elementary school (UPK-Grade 5) and our middle/high school (Grades 6-12). Alexander is conveniently located between Buffalo (44 miles) and Rochester (44 miles) in beautiful Genesee County. Students in Alexander not only achieve in our classrooms but in athletics and the performing arts. Our community, Board of Education, teachers, staff and administration create conditions for all of our students to succeed.
