We are looking for a Sr Student UX designer to join the UX team within the Partner Experience department. This designer is a passionate advocate for students, provides UX strategy , experience deliverables, and direction based upon the users' needs.

This designer needs to be collaborative, a strong communicator, and able to turn complex workflows into user-friendly, delightful products for our users.

The Sr UX Designer is also responsible for organizing content into user-centric categories, creating a navigational structure, and interface requirements to support the task and information needed.

Must Haves...

  • Strong desire to help students gro w
  • Passionate commitment to improving experiences for users as young as 4 years old
  • Be able to handle many complex workflows
  • Experience creating information architecture and user workflow diagrams
  • Ability to collaborate with a large group of stakeholders
  • Can articulate design decisions with data and user research
  • A portfolio showcasing your UX process

  • Ability to dive in, get your hands dirty, and figure it out with others
  • Design leadership, mentoring, and guidance for creating a usable experience
  • Strong knowledge in translating branding into action
  • Passion for learning
  • Creative ability to envision and articulate the user experience
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in usability as it applied to websites and online applications
  • Collaborative with stakeholders and fellow design & research team to build a delightful product experience

Preferred but not required...

  • Experience building experiences for kids
  • Experience using Sketch & InVision
  • Working knowledge of the agile framework
  • Working Knowledge of accessibility requirements


Education and Experience...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Information Design, Web Design or related field, or comparable experience in the Industry
  • Two or more years' experience in documenting and creating interactive solutions to meet the clients' business requirements and objectives (or comparable education)
