The Winnetka Public Schools District 36 has openings for full-time Special Education Associates.
We seek applicant(s) with the following qualifications:
1.Must have a valid Illinois Educator's Licensure (Professional Educator License PEL, Educator License with Stipulations
ELS/PARA) designation, or substitute license.
2.Previous experience with children/students preferred.
3.Ability to visually supervise students and assess situations for safety concerns.
4.Ability to perform assigned duties with a minimum of direction.
5.Knowledge of the use of technology to support instruction.
6.Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions regarding the safety and welfare of students.
7.Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members.
8.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of student information.
9.Clearance of Criminal Background check required.
10. Physical Exam within last year of hire date.
11.Valid First Aid/CPR Cards preferred.
Salary: $18.37/hour
