    Staff Needed: One (1) Operations Officer of Facilities, Maintenance, and Custodial Services

    Qualifications:
    • Must meet the requirements of a "Certified Educational Facilities Manager" pursuant to N.J.S.A 18A:17-49 or working towards the requirements
    • Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or in a field related to organizing and leading a program of maintaining facilities
    • Have at least five (5) years of experience in construction, project management and/or property management, with a minimum of three (3) years in supervisory capacity
    • Demonstrate knowledge of construction codes, health and safety regulations, financial and management practices, purchasing, supervision and motivation of personnel, and state and local regulations regarding the maintenance of buildings and equipment
    • Must hold a NJ Blue Seal Engineer's license or higher
    • Must hold a current NJDCA master license in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC-R fields
    • Demonstrate knowledge of International Building Codes, National Electrical Code, Fire & Life Safety Code, Indoor Air Quality, Integrated Pest Management, Right to Know, Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, Lead Renovation Repair Painting, and Department of Education rules and regulations that are applicable to school facilitates
    • Lead Water Testing
    • Capitol Projects
    • HAZMAT Training
    • Possess working knowledge of financial and management practices, purchasing, health & safety regulations, work order systems, Quality Single Accountability Continuum, supervision and motivation of personnel, and state and local regulations applicable to school facilities
    • Have excellent leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate people
    • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
    • Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
    • Demonstrate the ability to use computers for word processing, data management, and telecommunications
    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing with students, staff, administration, and the community
