PURPOSE OF JOB:

Assist various areas within the Kansas City Public School's Department of Technology with daily tasks and summer projects.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the refreshing of district end-user devices

Installing/Uninstalling cables, equipment, and devices

Receiving and unboxing of technology inventory and equipment

Create/Route work orders for end users

Troubleshoot basic technology issues

Update/maintain inventory of all district technology equipment

Lifting, sorting, moving, technology equipment

Evaluate technology equipment on site or in the field

Install/Repair digital projectors

Travel in the district as needed to provide services to district buildings and personnel, deliver or pick up technology equipment as needed to facilitate the repair and/or distribution of technology

Clean equipment

Participate in special technology projects as required.

Installing Network Infrastructure

Other duties as assigned



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

Must be at least 16 years of age

Must have reliable personal transportation



PREFERED QUALIFICATION:

Be a current (or former) KCPS student in good academic standing



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Able to lift up to 40lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time.
